THEOLOGY OF THE BODY for middle School

Your middle school children are growing fast, becoming young men and women. It is only natural that they ask questions about: 1) The opposite sex, 2) When is it okay to date, 3) Is it okay to have sex before marriage, and many more questions.

How do you answer their questions?

This Theology of the body course is very important for this age group. This course was developed based on our Blessed Pope John Paul II audiences and his teachings on the subject.

This course emphasizes that we were all created in the image and likeness of God, and it is God’s will for us to Love. We will teach students, how God intended us to lead our lives on this subject. This class will be held in the St. Teresa and St. Joseph Classroom:

July 18 through July 21 & July 25- July28

Monday through Thursday

From 6:30pm through 8:20pm

We are limited to only 30 students; we are giving our Parish middle school children first priority; but will open the class to St. Vincent de Paul and nearby Parishes after July 5th to fill our class.

Cost: $15. This will cover the cost of the student workbook and dinner for your child for both weeks.

Teachers are from this Parish, have been trained in this course and are all Catechists, they also serve in many ministries. You might know them; Gilbert & Debra Chavarria, Gilbert & Lupe Reyna, Paloma Goede (myself), Mary Ann Montoya, Norma Saucedo and Jeanette Nañez.

There are brochures in the office or at the back of the church. Please read the brochure and fill out the registration form. Return it to one of the facilitators or return the registration part to the Parish office as soon as possible.

God bless us all.
